The Maugrafix team did a great job organising this 2nd round of Italian Job, which will become one of the most competitive races in Europe! This time, the amazing facility of IBR Padova was hosting the event, with approximately 150 drivers.

I struggled a bit during practices and qualifications as I was lacking track time and data compared to the italians and all the teams who had done the trip prior to the race. I worked especially on diffs and sway bars to give more grip to the car, as you can see on my setup sheet attached.

I would then have to start from the quarters. After some work on my Orion engine package (going with softer clutch and smaller restrictor) to reduce the incredible power of it and get more traction, I won easily my quarter. The semi went very smooth also as I started 9th but quickly got to the 2nd spot!
In final, I started with number 5. After a few corners, I was 3rd but suffered a crash and went down in the pack. I worked my way up all the way to 2nd as my competitors were also suffering various problems. I kept my spot until the last refueling when I laped a car who took me out! It then cost me all chance to get back to 2nd. However, I'm very happy for this result as my first race with my 2013 package!I'm really confident and looking forward to Montpellier GP early February!
